8. Renault Duster Oroch

The arrival of the Renault Duster Oroch abroad was more celebrated than in Brazil, the country where the pickup truck originated.

So much so that the British car and speed program, Top Gear, in one of its episodes, heaped praise on the French manufacturer's model.

Sam Philip, the show's host at the time, stated that the model was magnificent; after all, it was robust, could carry up to five adults, and had a large cargo capacity in the bed.

Philip even suggested starting a campaign asking Renault to consider selling the model in the British market, and mind you, that wasn't British humor.

7. Volkswagen Up! TSI

Many people don't know this, but the Brazilian Up! is more powerful than the model sold in Germany.

In addition to arriving in the Brazilian market first, the Brazilian compact boasts 105 horsepower compared to "only" 90 horsepower under the German hoods.

In 2014, the car specialist website Auto Motor und Sport compared the performance of models from different countries and lamented the automaker's decision to discard the turbocharged engine option.

The most compelling proof of this is the story of a high-ranking Volkswagen executive from Germany who came to Brazil on business and, upon his return, requested that a Brazilian-made model be sent for his personal use.

Does the Brazilian compact have credibility or not?

6. Puma GT

Continuing our series on Brazilian cars praised abroad, we have the famous Puma GT.

Many foreign websites specializing in cars still heap praise on this remarkable little vehicle.

Specialized websites point to Puma as one of the best manufacturers of fiberglass vehicles using Volkswagen mechanics.

It's important to highlight that the brand is responsible for designing attractive and inspiring models, such as the Miura, for example.

5. Renault Sandero RS

Recognition is due here, after all, besides being one of the Brazilian cars praised abroad, the Sandero The RS has a legion of fans in Brazil, but as is well known, it's a sports car for a select few.

While the model has a hefty price tag in the Brazilian market, in the European market, with one euro worth just over six reais, the Sandero RS is more than affordable.

The renowned French automotive website "Caradisiac" has classified the Sandero RS as a true low-cost sports car.

But since he lacked the geographical conditions to evaluate the car, he gathered impressions from Mexican and Argentinian websites for his analysis.

After reading the praise for its performance, brakes, and handling, the French didn't hide their desire to get their hands on the Hatch.

According to purists in the country, the Sandero RS is a car that would have a lot of appeal in France.

4. Volkswagen SP2

The Volkswagen SP2 isn't universally acclaimed in our automotive market, it must be pointed out; however, it's yet another Brazilian car praised abroad.

The European automotive media defines the SP2 as the slowest fastest car in history. The SP2 has become a dream car for lovers of air-cooled Volkswagen models around the world.

Here in Brazil, it's becoming increasingly difficult to find a model in good condition for restoration. The model is becoming more and more of a rarity.

The SP2 had a sporty look, but poor performance, since its 1.7-liter engine with only 75 horsepower did not match its design.

Foreign media outlets claim that every detail has been carefully considered; after all, driving slowly in the SP2 allows everyone to admire its beauty.

The Volkswagen Museum, located in the city of Wolfsburg in Germany, features a gleaming model that takes the breath away of all visitors who pass through.

3. Fiat Toro

Highly appreciated by Brazilians, the Fiat Toro has already won a place in the hearts of foreigners.

Recently, American automotive reporter Jonathon Ramsey reviewed the pickup truck and asked: We want the Fiat Toro in the USA.

According to the expert, because it is more compact than the pickup trucks If sold in the US, the Toro would be very well received in the automotive market and could even boost the brand's weak sales there.

Ramsey also highlighted that the large number of versions could make the model accessible to people with varying income levels and that its presence would be a true revolution in the North American pickup truck market.

2. Troller T4

Who would have thought that the Troller T4 could appear on the list of Brazilian cars praised abroad?

The model that was launched in 2014 was better received abroad than here.

The American magazine AutoWeek, at the time, called the model the successor to... Ford Bronco, suggesting that units be imported into the US.

Meanwhile, Autoblog, another famous blog specializing in automobiles, stated in bold letters that the Troller T4 is urgently needed in the US automotive market.

1. Volkswagen Karmann Ghia TC

And to complete our list of Brazilian cars praised abroad, we have the Karmann Ghia TC.

The TC had a different design from the original Karmann Ghia, but that didn't stop it from having fans both inside and outside of Brazil.

One of the model's biggest fans is Jason Torchinsky, editor-in-chief of the car specialist website. Jalopnik

The journalist states that the design of the Karmann Ghia TC is magnificent, harmonious, and full of detail.

Because it's a Volkswagen model, it's also well-regarded among Germans.

But among the Bavarian people, there are differences of opinion, because while some love the Karmann Ghia TC, others prefer the SP2. Truly, the battle between the two is fierce.

Conclusion
