Although import taxes have been reduced to near zero for electric or hybrid vehicles in Brazil, the still small scale of production, coupled with the influence of the dollar, euro, and pound exchange rates, means that the market for this type of vehicle remains small. 

Contrary to what is happening in Brazil, the market for electrified vehicles continues to grow worldwide.
