Expanding its line of electric commercial vehicles in Brazil, JAC Motors has announced the arrival of the electric van, or electric cargo van if you prefer, this time in July.

The arrival of a vehicle of this type shows that the automaker sees Brazil as a showcase and a testing ground for its products. electric vehicles. 

The JAC iEV750V is actually the first large electric van for sale here. 

Broadly speaking, this vehicle could compete with models already well-established here, such as the Peugeot Boxer, Citroën Jumper, and the famous Fiat Ducato. 

Initially designed entirely for the urban delivery segment due to its autonomy. 

With the rise in online sales and competition among transport companies, electric vans have a great chance of gaining ground due to their sustainable footprint, as well as being economically viable. 

Ultimately, urban deliveries tend to be expensive due to the high fuel consumption caused by the stop-and-go traffic of large cities. 

In its field of operation, the electric van is on par with the conventional vans we are familiar with. 

Its cargo volume is 12.3 cubic meters and its load capacity is 1,550 kg. 

Just to give an example, the Renault Master, in its longest configuration with a high roof, has a cargo volume of 13 m² and a payload capacity of up to 1,433 kg. 

Another highlight of the JAC iEV750V is its power. The electric motor is capable of producing 163 horsepower with a torque of 76.4 kgfm generated by its 3.0 engine. 

Although it is a vehicle with high torque, the manufacturer has so far only disclosed the top speed, limited to 100 km/h.

In terms of acceleration, the electrified van goes from 0 to 50 km/h in 12 seconds. Something more than acceptable for large cities. 

THE van autonomy The electric range announced by JAC is 235 kilometers with eco mode on and the air conditioning off, increasing the range to 280 km. 

When driven at a constant speed of 40 km/h, the range advertised by the manufacturer was 430 km. 

The batteries have a capacity of 92 kWh, however, the manufacturer has not provided information about the battery recharge time. 

At this point you must be wondering: But what is the price of this electric van?

Well then, without further ado, let's get down to business. 

The price announced for the JAC IEV750V is R$386,990. As with other electric vehicles, the price is significantly higher than equivalent vehicles with combustion engines.
