If you're thinking about buying a Logan, today's article is for you.

What new features does the Renault Logan offer?

THE Renault Logan has a number of new features. Although most are subtle, we've separated them all here to show you in detail.

Design is a highlight.

Without a doubt, one of the main aspects of the Logan that deserves attention is its design.

At first glance, you can already notice the model's refined and sophisticated lines. One of the most striking features is the smooth, sloping design, clearly inspired by coupes – a current trend in the segment.

Refined front end

At the front, what stands out is the new, modern-looking headlight assembly, complete with a "Y"-shaped LED light signature.

Stylish drop back

At the rear, the new Logan maintained the clean lines that highlight a smooth roofline.

The new horizontal taillights also feature the automaker's new lighting signature. From this angle, it's also possible to notice the styling characteristics. The fenders, for example, retain their distinctive lines along the sides.

Harmonious side

From the side, the evolution is clear. The coupe-inspired styling resulted in a new glazed area with a larger, quarter window that even extends into the C-pillar.

Lateral
Logan is harmonious, beautiful, and functional.

The B-pillar, in turn, abandoned the sticker and gained a central piece that divides the doors. Viewed from the outside, the model is beautiful from all angles.

Refined interior

The interior keeps pace with all the advancements seen on the exterior.

Basically everything is new and sophisticated with straight, horizontal lines; the model comes with new air vents and air conditioning controls.

The seats are finished in leather, the steering wheel is adjustable, and the headliner is tinted, which creates a greater sense of spaciousness and consequently comfort.

Security

When the The subject is security. The Renault Logan doesn't do badly.

To begin with, the model features 4 airbags: two front airbags and two side airbags, designed to offer maximum protection from all sides.

Another safety system that pleases owners is the hill start assist. With it, the vehicle will not roll back even if the foot is taken off the brake. This is very important, including for avoiding minor household accidents.

The Logan also features Electronic Stability Control, which increases grip and prevents skidding on various types of surfaces.

And to top it all off, the model also features the mandatory ABS braking system.

Safety is not an issue for this model.

Comfort and interior space

Another point positive of the model Its spacious interior is a major advantage. It's no exaggeration to say that the model can comfortably accommodate 5 passengers.

However, if the passengers in the back seat are all adults, long journeys can become a bit cramped. But for shorter trips, the vehicle is a real lifesaver.

Espaço
The Renault Logan has plenty of space.

Another item directly related to the issue of space is the trunk. With 520 liters, it can carry everything and then some, bringing great peace of mind to all occupants.

And speaking of comfort, especially for the driver, there's the option of the X-Tronic CVT transmission, which we'll discuss later.

Full of accessories

Like other models from the manufacturer, the Renault Logan features different accessory kits so that each owner can customize their vehicle. Let's talk a little about each of these kits.

Practicality Kit

This kit includes a tilt-down system, a rear-view camera, and an armrest.

The Tilt Down System causes the passenger-side rearview mirror to tilt downwards when reverse gear is engaged, improving visibility of the curb and allowing for more precise maneuvers.

Working almost in tandem with the Tilt Down System, the rear-view camera complements the kit, allowing a wide view of the rear of the vehicle. This facilitates parallel parking, maneuvering, and parking in tight spaces.

And functioning literally as a practical item, the kit includes an armrest designed to provide more comfort to the driver.

Safety Kit

The security kit includes a volumetric alarm, parking sensors, and fog lights.

As the name suggests, this kit aims to provide security to owners of a Logan model.

The volumetric alarm aims to practically deter theft and robbery in a wide variety of situations.

Parking sensors make it easier to perform specific maneuvers in tight parking spaces, whether outdoors or inside garages with limited room to maneuver.

And fog lights allow for greater visibility for the driver in extreme conditions.

Everyday kit

And the last kit is the everyday kit, designed to make life easier for Logan owners by offering some very useful components. This kit includes a tow hitch, organizer bag, and pet seat.

The tow hitch is designed for adventure seekers, allowing them to transport motorcycles, bicycles, or even jet skis anytime, anywhere.

Organizer bags make it easier to transport a wide variety of items, such as groceries from the market or fair, for example.

Finally, the pet car seat provides more comfort and safety for your pet when transporting them in your car.

In total, it's possible to install up to 15 different accessories on your Logan, making it even more complete and unique according to your needs and preferences.

Connectivity

The Renault Logan features the Media Evolution multimedia system.

The system features a large touchscreen display capable of connecting to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

With this multimedia system, you can mirror apps like Spotify, Waze, Google Maps, and WhatsApp. It also features Eco Scoring, Eco Coaching, a rear-view camera, and Bluetooth.

Engine and transmission

The Renault Logan offers two engine options under the hood, both named SCe.

One is a 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine capable of producing 79 horsepower on gasoline and 82 horsepower on ethanol, while the other is a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 115 horsepower on gasoline and 118 on ethanol. Both engines have aluminum cylinder heads, blocks, and oil pans.

Another very positive aspect of these engines is that they have four valves per cylinder, an exhaust manifold integrated into the cylinder head, and feature the ESM – Energy Smart Management system.

Motorização
The model features two engine options.

The system allows for energy regeneration during braking to recharge the battery.

Furthermore, both Renault Logan engines come with a five-speed manual transmission. The X-Tronic CVT transmission, however, is only available with the 1.6 engine.

Performance and fuel consumption

The Logan features a gear indicator on the dashboard that alerts the driver to the best time to change gears, always aiming for performance and fuel economy.

In addition, the model features two performance-saving systems: Eco Scoring and Eco Coaching.

The systems work in a unified way to evaluate the driver's driving and at the end of the journeys take into account three important factors: The right time to change gears, fuel consumption and mileage traveled.

This allows the driver to operate the vehicle intelligently and efficiently, in an economical way but without sacrificing performance.

The Logan's average fuel consumption in the city is:

  • 1.0 engine with manual transmission: 9.3 km/liter with ethanol and 13.8 km/liter with gasoline;
  • 1.6 engine with manual transmission: 8.8 km/liter with ethanol and 13.0 km/liter with gasoline;
  • 1.6 engine with CVT transmission: 7.9 km/liter with ethanol and 11.7 km/liter with gasoline.

On the highway, the average fuel consumption for the Sedan is:

  • 1.0 engine with manual transmission: 10.0 km/liter with ethanol and 14.5 km/liter with gasoline;
  • 1.6 engine with manual transmission: 9.5 km/liter with ethanol and 13.8 km/liter with gasoline;
  • 1.6 engine with CVT transmission: 9.1 km/liter with ethanol and 13.4 km/liter with gasoline.

Unlike many models sold by competitors, the Renault Logan only has two distinct versions:

  • Renault Logan Life with prices starting from R$ 60,590.00;
  • Renault Logan Zen with prices starting from R$ 63,490.00.
