The Beetle was the first car produced by Volkswagen. The model maintained its original form between 1938 and 2003.

Something many people don't know is that the Type 2 was the first four-wheeled, gasoline-powered vehicle in Brazil. It was brought by the family of Santos Dumont, the father of aviation. 

A few years later, more precisely in 1919, it was Citroën's turn to launch its first automobile, named Type A.

Released in 1955, the first model produced by Suzuki was the minicar named Suzulight. The model was equipped with an innovative two-stroke, two-cylinder engine with a displacement of 360 cc and 18 horsepower.

With three tires the size of bicycle wheels, a wooden chassis, and only a seat and a steering wheel that was actually a crank, the vehicle already had a four-stroke engine like those of today, but with only one horsepower. The maximum speed was 16 km/h. 

Historical accounts indicate that the model collided with a pole sometime after its manufacture. Following this incident, its inventor joined forces with another historical figure in the evolution of automobiles, the German engineer Gottlieb Daimler. 

Together they founded Daimler-Benz, which eventually gave rise to one of the most famous car brands in the world: Mercedes-Benz.
