The Fiat Marea couldn't be left out of this select group of the worst cars produced in Brazil. It's a model from the Italian automaker that is, more than a little, problematic. 

The first point of contention with this vehicle concerns its timing belt, which, when it broke, required the entire engine to be removed for replacement. Furthermore, another inexplicable aspect of the Marea is that its launch version in 2005 had a "powerful" 2.4-liter engine with 160 hp and an automatic transmission with only four gears. Add to that, finally, a gasoline-only engine with high fuel consumption. It was bound to fail.
