Kombi

A classic model that brought joy to many families in the last century, the Volkswagen Kombi became an icon of its time, boosting the Volkswagen brand.

Its durability is something that is quite evident even today; since its launch, it has been known as the vehicle "that doesn't give you trouble." It has won over diverse audiences, and we even have a post talking about how this classic vehicle has been embraced by surfers.

The Volkswagen Kombi is one of the most durable cars due to its long lifespan. Even though it's an antique, the Kombi was sold for years without any modifications, to the great satisfaction of the public.

22 – Volkswagen Gol

The Gol has gone from car of the year to classic of the decade, and now it's "the car you can't live without!" I say this because its presence in the national car market has become commonplace. While many thought that after its great years of growth it would retire, Volkswagen surprised everyone and brought innovations to the model that didn't make it lose its essence. It's for these reasons that it's quite durable; anyone who has owned or currently owns a Gol knows that it doesn't cause much trouble, due to its reasonable fuel consumption, its low cost-benefit ratio, and other details that make the Gol a vehicle you can't do without.

21 – Volkswagen Parati

The famous "car" makes our list due to its simplicity, its parts are durable, and if it happens to have a problem, you will have no difficulty repairing it or finding new ones. With excellent preventive maintenance and proper road precautions, the Volkswagen Parati will last a long time.

20 – Fiat Palio

One of Fiat's most iconic popular cars, just like the Gol, many thought the Palio would have a memorable retirement because they didn't believe it would achieve more than it already had; but once again the automaker showed its professionalism and maintained one of the best-known models in the Brazilian market. Those who own a Palio know it's one of the most durable cars due to its incredible fuel economy, low cost-benefit ratio, and simplicity.

19 – Volkswagen Saveiro

Many people use this model for work; you may have even seen a Saveiro working as a "fumigation" vehicle, where mosquito-killing sprays are applied. Even today, it remains a favorite among some professionals because this model is one of the most durable cars. It runs well on all types of fuel, has adequate fuel consumption, and its mechanics operate efficiently, so if problems arise, it won't be a huge headache. To maintain a Saveiro, regular preventative maintenance is recommended, so it will always look new, of course, with proper personal care.

18 – Fiat Uno

The star of the popular car market, the Fiat Uno has gained considerable strength since its launch and has conquered all social classes exponentially. Anyone today who thinks about buying a used or nearly new car has had the Uno cross their mind.

With excellent fuel economy and great value for money, the Fiat Uno has excellent mechanical power suitable for efficient durability. That's why the Fiat Uno is one of the most durable cars on the market.

17 – Volkswagen Voyage

The Voyage is a well-known Volkswagen sedan inspired by the Gol. It was launched in 1981 and discontinued in 1995, but as a 1996 model, it was replaced by the Polo Classic only in 1997. It was voted Car of the Year in 1982.

With many years of experience, Volkswagen preserved several standard details of this car to maintain its high quality, one of which was its incredible durability, with an excellent body and great finish, not to mention its very economical fuel consumption.

16 – Chevrolet Onix

In recent years, the Chevrolet Onix has become the trendy car, some even say it's the best car in Brazil. Well, it's hard to disagree, since it's one of GM's best-done projects in recent times.

The Chevrolet Onix is one of the most durable cars because it was designed for that purpose. Its main feature is the engine's power, which, even though it's a modest 1.0 (depending on the model), is perfect for fuel consumption. Another factor the Onix excels at is its current car, boasting numerous positive features, which explains the explosion in sales Chevrolet has experienced in the last 3 years.

15 – Hyundai HB20

The model that surprised everyone and revolutionized the market by bringing back the power of the 1.0 engine. The Hyundai HB20 shone from its launch, winning the car of the year award right away. And that's no surprise after seeing this beautiful Hyundai vehicle.

It has smooth mechanics, with quality electronic injection that runs noticeably well. Considering fuel consumption, suspension, cost-benefit ratio, bodywork, and everything else, the Hyundai HB20 is a suitable car, not perfect, nor flawless, but adequate. Without a doubt, it is one of the best vehicles currently available, and therefore one of the most durable cars on the market.

14 – Ford Ka

If we say that the Gol was the "car you couldn't live without," the Ford Ka is the "car you'll never be without." Many people know this vehicle for the same reasons we created this list. Only those who have owned a Ka know the security of knowing that proper overall mechanics protect your vehicle for a precious amount of time. Besides being incredibly fuel-efficient, the Ka boasts simple specifications, such as suspension, bodywork, and shock absorbers, and this simplicity allows for vehicle upgrades with new parts and structure if something happens or you just want to make some minor changes. One of the most durable cars on the market is the Ford Ka.

13 – Volkswagen Up!

It's rare to see a Volkswagen Up! with worn-out bodywork on city streets. Volkswagen's work on the specifications of this model went far beyond expectations. The Volkswagen Up! runs smoothly on fuel, and all its external parts are durable; if there's a problem, a repair can be done without breaking the bank. That's why the Volkswagen Up! is one of the most durable cars in Brazil.

12 – Toyota Etios

Toyota is known for making durable cars, perhaps the most durable on the market. I don't know! But I do know that the Etios is a vehicle with great durability. It's rare to see a popular car with a well-preserved interior finish, but with the Etios this is possible; its interior finish is entirely high-quality and sophisticated. Its suspension also helps and makes this vehicle a very durable car; it's worth it.

11 – Fiat Argo

Like the Etios, the Fiat Argo also boasts a high-quality interior finish, and with its new generation, it features cutting-edge technology. The vehicle's performance isn't perfect, but it's adequate for cautious drivers.

With quality shock absorbers and tires, the Fiat Argo can handle various roads without suffering damage, making it one of the most durable cars on the market, in addition to having a good suspension that meets its needs.

10 – Citroën C3

Citroën is a company known for assembling technologically advanced and high-quality models, and the C3 represents this well. The car can handle various types of roads, and for a long time, the only thing the consumer will have to do to maintain it is add fuel. Even though fuel consumption isn't great, the Citroën's body is impeccable; it's possible to see a 10-year-old C3 looking brand new. In addition to good mechanical features, this is a good reason to say that the Citroën C3 is one of the most durable cars on the market.

THE Kwid It is a subcompact hatchback car from Renault, initially launched in India in 2015. In Brazil, it was launched in August 2017.

8 – Peugeot 208

The 208 is one of the brand's main cars in the national popular market; its body is truly very robust. Even though it has a negative point, which is its fuel consumption, the Peugeot fits into the list due to its good brake discs, quality and resistant shock absorbers, and of course, its body.

A great car and an excellent offering from Renault.

Even today, many people own this vehicle because of its longevity, and the reason is its engine and overall mechanics; it runs very efficiently and robustly, enough to satisfy the average consumer who can't afford to replace their vehicle.

4 – Volkswagen Beetle

The classic of classics couldn't be missing from our list. The Volkswagen Beetle is known for many reasons: its great history, its fame, and of course, its high durability. It's no wonder that it's totally common to see a Beetle on the streets nowadays; after decades, this model, which was once VM's flagship product, is still one of the most durable cars in Brazil.

3 – Volkswagen Passat

They stopped manufacturing it a long time ago, but just like the Beetle, the Passat is alive and well on every urban street in the country. Even though some drivers can afford a decent 1.0 model, they still prefer to remain loyal to the old Passat. Despite having undergone updates over the decades, the classic Passat is an "easy" car to own and maintain, which is why it's one of the most durable.
