The automaker JAC is expected to begin deliveries of its electric model, the JAC Y3, in March 2023. Pre-sales have already begun. The car comes with a battery that guarantees a range of up to 400 km, and it's a strong contender in the electric car segment.
3. BYD
BYD is a new Chinese automaker entering the Brazilian market in 2023. To compete in the premium electric car market, it is launching its TAN and HAN models.
These versions come equipped with a sophisticated cabin and also some optional features such as: autonomous braking, cruise control and active lane assist.
The HAN model, with its bold design, stands out and has won an international award at the iF Design 2021.
4. Great Wall

Well, Great Wall comes with the credentials of being one of the largest car manufacturers in China. With its Haval, Tank, and Power lines, which boast excellent design and performance, it will enter the market and seriously challenge its competitors. The manufacturer's highlight is the Haval 6, in the mid-size SUV segment.
So, the models mentioned above are the releases for the Brazilian market in 2023. But other Chinese automakers are studying projects to also enter the country. This is the case with Geely, which has already been here and is now planning its return. And also, according to recent information, Changan is showing interest in resuming operations in Brazil focusing on the sale of compact SUVs such as the CS15, which is very popular in China.
However, it's not only Chinese automakers who see great sales potential in the competitive Brazilian market.

Thus, the Japanese company Mazda has been conducting studies for some time to return to Brazil, including the intention to build its own factory in Goiás.
Among its models, which would certainly be well-received by Brazilian consumers, is the CX-3 compact SUV. It is in no way inferior to its main competitors: the Honda HR-V, the Nissan Kicks, and the VW T-Cross.
6. SsangYong
The South Korean automaker SsangYong was present in Brazil until 2015. Previously, it brought the Chery version, and now plans to return with the Venko. Therefore, it should sell its Tivoli, XLV, Rexton, Actyon Sports, and Rexton Sports models here.
