Although the total weight of the vehicle has not been announced, the Essenza SCV12 is expected to have one of the best power-to-weight ratios among all sports cars in the world. 

As we mentioned, the chassis of the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 is directly inherited from motorsport competitions. 

The gearbox is used as a structural member of the platform. This is done to support the rear suspension system, making the car lighter and improving overall weight distribution. 

The gearbox has six speeds and the transmission is controlled directly from the steering wheel. 

The Essenza SCV12 has rear-wheel drive, unlike most Lamborghinis which have all-wheel drive. 

With less metal concentrated at the rear of the vehicle, its center of gravity becomes more centralized, optimizing its performance when cornering at high speeds. 

Another sector that received specific care and attention is wheels. 

Aiming for the greatest possible weight reduction, Lamborghini developed magnesium wheels with different sizes for the front and rear.
