Initially, the Chevrolet Onix is a beautiful car produced by General Motors, launched exclusively in Brazil at the event. São Paulo International Motor Show In 2012, with a very clear proposal, the Onix was launched to replace the renowned and now-retired Chevrolet Corsa and Chevrolet Celta. The main promise of the new 2020 Onix Plus is to revitalize the Prisma, which until now was the sedan version of the Onix. Furthermore, with improvements in technology, design, finish, and other details, the 2020 Onix Plus promises great stability in all aspects that the market demands. The vehicle has gained more details, become larger, and much more attractive. In short, the model has six airbags: two side airbags, two front airbags, and two curtain airbags. Regarding safety specifications for the 2020 Onix Plus, in addition to the new airbags, it also features three-point seatbelts for all five occupants, side turn signal lights, headrests, a tire pressure monitoring system, ABS and EBD brakes, among others. 

Finally, the model also became much more comfortable, with an impeccable interior finish. Furthermore, among the comfort specifications of the 2020 Onix Plus are: progressive electric power steering, split and folding rear seat, air conditioning, 12V power outlet in the center console, front and rear power windows with one-touch system, power door locks, among others.

It's offered with a 1.0-liter three-cylinder flex-fuel turbo engine, which is the most fuel-efficient engine in the country, according to [source needed]. Chevrolet states that it opted to use the multipoint injection system because using direct injection could cause fuel problems and consequently increase maintenance costs. 

In conclusion, the 1.0 turbo engine in the 2020 Onix Plus produces 116 horsepower with ethanol and gasoline at 5,500 rpm, with torque of 16.3 kgfm with gasoline and 16.8 kgfm with ethanol at 2,000 rpm, and the transmission is either automatic or manual, with six gears each.
