The well-known Italian automaker currently holds the third position among the brands that sell the most cars in Brazil, but do you know which Fiat models have been the 10 best-selling so far in the country?

Although few people know it, Fiat is a global brand of FCA – Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, and has a stake in many other brands, such as... Ferrari case, for example. 

The group has production facilities in 40 countries and a commercial presence in 150 countries. Fiat is one of the most traditional and recognized automotive companies among Brazilians. 

Located in the city of Betim, Minas Gerais, since 1976, Fiat has a production capacity of up to 800,000 vehicles per year. 

The company recently completed a major investment cycle in the range of R$ 7 billion, for the modernization of the factory and expansion of production capacity. 

Furthermore, the automaker also invests in the development of new products, technologies, quality, and engineering training to execute bold and innovative projects, such as the Fiat Toro, for example. 

It's important to mention that the automaker is one of those that most considers customer opinions when developing new projects and making modifications to vehicles already in production. 

That being said, it's time to move on to the brand's best-selling models here. Let's check them out!

In tenth and final place on our list is the Fiat Weekend. 

A survivor from the old days, the station wagon that was once a sales success among wealthy families and workers is now literally relegated to oblivion. 

There has been talk for some time about the end of production of the model; however, 2020 is considered the year of the Weekend's death. So far, only 130 units have been registered, a real defeat. 

The Fiat Doblo is another model from the manufacturer that you either love or hate; there's no middle ground. 

Its somewhat questionable design divides opinions, however the model is functional, after all it is capable of carrying a large number of occupants, can be used for work and especially by people with mobility problems. 

With different versions and standard features, the Doblo had a total of 1,610 units registered up to the end of July. 

In eighth place among the 10 best-selling Fiat cars in 2020 is the successor to the Siena. 

The Grand Siena was the Italian automaker's bet after the Linea was discontinued. However, the model was not, and still is not, a match for the heavyweight rivals in the category. 

With an inferior engine, basic standard features, and unattractive prices, and internal competition from the Cronos, the Grand Siena may be yet another model in the line of succession to be discontinued soon. 

So far, only 5,461 units have been sold.

Here we have a Fiat model Completely geared towards work, the Fiorino. Therefore, it's no surprise that it's on the manufacturer's best-selling list here. 

The Fiorino is a great work option simply because it combines all the mechanical reliability of Fiat with ample cargo space, making it suitable for a wide variety of work purposes. 

In total, 6,610 Fiorino units were registered. 

The Fiat Uno was once synonymous with a popular car and managed to compete on equal terms with the Gol, which was the undisputed sales leader for years, but that's all in the past.

After a restyling, the model's price increased and it lost its popular appeal. Today, it's possible to find different versions of this remarkable little car; there's even an automatic transmission option—who would have imagined that ten or fifteen years ago?

The truth is that even with the changes, the Uno is still well-liked, but it's no longer the sales success it once was. To date, 7,274 units have been sold. 

In fifth place among Fiat's best-selling cars is the Cronos; this sedan has a higher sales volume than the Grand Siena due to its price, accessories, and available versions. 

The model features the new Firefly engine, which is not present in its older sibling, the Grand Siena. However, the model did not catch on as the manufacturer had hoped and ended up being overlooked by customers in favor of its competitors. 

Their sales figures are relatively weak. In total, only 8,799 units were sold in 2020.

In fourth place, we have the car that was once the cheapest in Brazil: the Fiat Mobi. 

The Mobi is Fiat's new entry-level option, replacing the Uno. However, despite the price differences, they end up competing with each other.

Therefore, the sales figures end up being more diluted and are not so positive for either of them. In total, 20,562 units of the Fiat Mobi were registered. 

THE Fiat Toro It is a unique pickup truck on the market, fitting into a category dubbed by the manufacturer as SUP – Sport Utility Pick Up.

Because it stands "alone," the Toro has been swimming in success since its inception, being one of Fiat's top-selling cars since its launch. 

With different versions and a wide range of engines, the Toro appeals to a wide variety of consumers. In other words, its success is no accident. 

To date, 24,034 units of the Toro have been sold.

The Fiat Argo is the second best-selling Fiat car in 2020. 

The newly created hatchback was one of the automaker's bets to enter the competitive compact car market, and apparently it's working.

The model has different versions and two engine variations – 1.0 and 1.3. According to experts, the only flaw in the Argo is the programming of its gear ratios, which sometimes proves incompatible with the manual transmission and the 1.0 engine.

In total, 27,485 units of the Argo were sold. 

And the best-selling model could be none other than the Fiat Strada. 

The small pickup truck, which just underwent a redesign for 2021, is the automaker's golden girl.

A great option for couples without children, singles, or anyone who needs a vehicle for work or leisure.

In addition to being the champion among brand-new cars, owners of parking lots and dealerships say that used and nearly new models are frequently sought after by customers of all kinds.

In total, 29,415 Strada units were sold in 2020.

Although Fiat has been a well-established brand here for a long time, its sales figures are lower than those of other brands, such as Volkswagen, for example. 

However, the automaker's cars are known for their power and reliability and have well-established sales leaders in their category, such as the Strada and the Toro.
