4. Volvo XC40 Recharge
The Volvo XC40 Recharge is the German automaker's first fully electric model.
It's a compact SUV, based on its sibling, the conventional XC40.
Before the pandemic, the projected launch date was 2020, but sources close to the automaker have stated that the launch is likely to be delayed until 2021 – which we hope is not true.
One thing that stands out about the XC40 Recharge is the ability to charge the 80% battery in just 40 minutes, but this requires using a fast charger with a capacity of up to 150 KW.
Equipped with a dual motor that generates 402 horsepower and a 78 KW battery, the model has a range of 340 kilometers.
