Which vehicles have the most features to avoid an accident or minimize the damage caused by one?

THE Index CESVI BRASIL's Safety Classification System classifies vehicles according to the availability of vehicle safety components.

These components were divided into 5 categories: passive safety, active safety, driver assistance, safety assistance, and pedestrian protection. Within these 5 categories, 47 safety features are included that can reduce the number of road fatalities, such as stability control, seatbelt warning, autonomous emergency braking, pedestrian protection bars, among others. The classification is presented in stars, with the best-equipped vehicle having a higher number of stars, up to a maximum of 5.

With this classification, CESVI BRASIL offers yet another tool to assist consumers and the insurance market in the search for a safer vehicle – and also an important reference for risk analysis.
