15 – Simca Chambord
Simca – Société Industrielle de Mécanique et de Carrosserie Automobile, established itself in the city of São Bernardo dos Campos in 1958 and began producing the model under license between 1959 and 1967.
Originally designed as a model of peace, aiming to end the Second World War, the Simca Chambord had unique lines reminiscent of classic American cars. Its appearance, in fact, appealed to everyone.
However, the car was considered by many to be a beautiful, spacious, and comfortable vehicle, but lethargic. Equipped with a V8 engine producing around 80 horsepower, the old sedan lacked the necessary power to accelerate on the streets and highways. It didn't take long for its sales to stagnate, as did interest in the vehicle, which unfortunately ended up on the list of the worst cars produced in Brazil.
