20 – Seat Córdoba
Here we have another famous model that was a real flop in the Brazilian market, making it onto the blacklist of the worst cars produced in Brazil, but to be fair, the Córdoba wasn't bad in itself; it was factors unrelated to performance and structure that caused it to end up on that list.
The biggest problem with cars from the Spanish manufacturer Seat was the high price of spare parts, as well as the cost of after-sales service, which made maintenance unfeasible.
Furthermore, a boycott by Volkswagen also contributed to the vehicle's failure. The Seat was sold in the German automaker's dealerships, which deliberately excluded them to avoid any kind of competition.
