7 – Chevrolet Veraneio
The Chevrolet Veraneio is considered the father of the Blazer. With everything it needed to succeed, it was launched in Brazil in 1964. Large, robust, and good for family outings or work use, it couldn't possibly go wrong.
Although the vehicle remained on the market for many years, those who bought it soon regretted it, as the model became famous as a police van, a feared vehicle used by the first generation of the ROTA police force in the state of São Paulo.
When it wasn't being used as a police car, the model was employed as an ambulance. Jokes were inevitable, and the model didn't appeal to the public. Nowadays, it's extremely rare to see a Veraneio on the road.
