11 – Lada Laika

The Lada Laika arrived in 1990 and, although it had some problems such as oxidation and poor finishing, it ended up conquering the market due to its four doors, reasonable space, and a lower price than the famous Fiat Uno Mille. This even led many taxi drivers to opt for the Soviet-era car for driving on Brazilian streets.

Initially, the proposal was very good. However, it was not well adapted to Brazil and became a real failure due to the lack of adaptation to the national gasoline, which contained approximately 251% of diluted alcohol.

Another factor that caused the car to be included on the list of the worst cars in Brazil was its maintenance, which was far too expensive for its relatively low price.
