This is a classic example of ambiguity.
Featuring three wheels, the English model's main objective was to be classified as a motorcycle in order to pay less taxes and become a cheaper alternative for its buyers.
At that point it was successful and even achieved a good number of units sold, since it was inexpensive.
However, their safety was a problem.
Due to its three wheels, the model was unstable and known for its tendency to roll over easily, in addition to being one of the ugliest cars ever produced.
