Here's another example of inspiration from Hot Rods that didn't turn out well.
Quite the opposite, in fact.
The Plymouth Prowler, launched in 1997, besides being completely devoid of aesthetics, also had an optional trailer that served as a rather impractical trunk.
The model was only produced until 2001 and, as one might imagine, it was a sales failure.
