Currently, the Fiat Argo competes with models such as the Chevrolet Onix, Hyundai HB20, and Ford Ka, as well as other more "refined" compact hatchbacks like the Volkswagen Polo, the Ford New Fiesta, and the Peugeot 208. To achieve this, it offers variants with 1.0-liter, 1.3-liter, or 1.8-liter engines, with manual, automated, or automatic transmissions.

With 63,011 units sold in 2018, the Fiat Argo ranked ninth on the list of best-selling cars of last year.
