19 – Jac J5
THE J5 It is a prominent vehicle of Jac que tem uma presença muito forte no mercado.
O sedã médio da marca chinesa foi o primeiro do tipo no fabricante de Shenzen, província de Anhui, na China – a mesma região da rival Chery. O JAC J5 foi um produto importante lá, mas no mercado brasileiro, fracassou ao insistir numa configuração mecânica que já não atendia mais aos anseios dos clientes.
Diferente da China, onde entregava 112 cavalos, aqui o motor do JAC J5 passou a ter 125 cavalos a 5.500 rpm e 15,5 kgfm a 4.000 rpm, a fim de ter força suficiente para empurrar o médio. Esse motor ainda não havia sido usado no JAC J3 Sport, que traria a tecnologia flex (JetFlex) mais adiante.
