THE Renault Logan 2019 It is equipped with two engines called SCe, one a three-cylinder 1.0 and the other a four-cylinder 1.6, both developed with aluminum cylinder head, block and crankcase.  

The 1.0 engine followed the three-cylinder trend and features dual variable valve timing on both intake and exhaust, a technology never before seen in entry-level engines. Furthermore, the aluminum block results in a 20-kilogram weight reduction. The 1.6 engine, on the other hand, has four cylinders but the same dual variable valve timing on the intake, as well as injectors positioned in the cylinder head. The block is also made of aluminum, but with a 30-kilogram weight reduction.
