19 – Honda Odyssey – logo on the wrong side
I don't know if this is one of the most bizarre recalls in history, but it's certainly the most nonsensical. In 2013, Honda in the US recalled all owners of the Odyssey minivan for repairs due to a defect in the models. What defect was that?! The logo with the minivan's name was placed on the right side instead of the left. In a statement, even though it didn't make complete sense, Honda said it recalled the owners because the incorrect position of the logo could lead someone to think the car had been in an accident and repaired. Does that make sense? You tell me.
