1 - Volkswagen Fox - finger mutilation
Generally, a driver likes to adjust their seat to make it more comfortable for driving. However, in 2008, reports emerged of Volkswagen Fox owners losing the tips of their fingers while trying to fold down the seat. At least 8 people had their fingertips severed, and Volkswagen had to recall more than 500,000 models to modify the system and include safety alerts. One of the most bizarre car recalls in history. Furthermore, Volkswagen had to pay between £1,400,650,000 and £1,400,900 to the injured people.
