11 – Hyundai Veloster – sunroof that explodes
Many people like sunroofs for various reasons: ambient lighting, fresh air, and even crazy people who want shade to shout "I love the world!" – don't do that – but what's strange is seeing a sunroof exploding for no reason. The Hyundai Veloster had recorded cases where the sunroof exploded unexpectedly, scattering embers and debris 1.80 meters away. At the time, Hyundai said it believed the sunroof may have been weakened during the assembly process, becoming unable to support its own weight – an error that shouldn't exist, which is why this model had one of the most bizarre car recalls in history.
