Depois que a Honda Racing saiu da F1 no final de 2008, parecia que Jenson Button estava deixando o esporte, mas com Ross Brawn comprando o time, ele continuou com tudo.
O britânico conquistou o tĂtulo no Brasil para o deleite dos torcedores ingleses e, claro, seu pai, o falecido John Button.
Button tinha uma grande habilidade para dirigir em condições mais úmidas e até hoje ainda tem a fama de conquistar a melhor corrida de todos os tempos na história da F1, Canadá 2011.
