Aiming to demonstrate the fuel efficiency of the 2020 Leaf, Nissan showed a calculation it made to compare the cost of recharging with refueling, and for this, it used a March 1.0 to compare it with the Leaf.

According to data from the manufacturer, the 2020 Nissan Leaf consumes approximately R$ 50 for a full recharge, and after 60,000 kilometers driven, the energy cost would have been R$ 6,320.00. For the same mileage, the fuel cost for the March would be R$ 18,558.00. This shows that the electric vehicle would be three times cheaper in terms of fuel economy.

It is important to point out that this test was conducted in June 2019, when Leaf 2020 was still in the testing phase.
