Fiat had released teasers of the new Strada to the general public. Sources close to the brand indicated that everything was ready for the launch of the small pickup truck, but unfortunately the plans ended up being postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. 

Fiat's production has been halted at all factories in the country, meaning there is no expectation regarding the launch date of the new generation Strada, which is highly anticipated due to a number of new features. The model will share elements with the Mobi, such as the front structure, doors, windshield, and interior, as well as single and double cab versions. 

The entry-level model will retain the 1.4 Fire engine with 88 horsepower, while the more expensive versions will be equipped with a 1.3 Firefly engine with 109 horsepower and a five-speed manual transmission as the only option.

The automaker was asked about the possibility of an online launch, similar to what happened with the Chevrolet Tracker, but the brand's top executives in Brazil stated that this is not in the company's plans.
