History
On September 12, 2012, the HB20 (an acronym for Hyundai Brazil) was launched, entering the hatchback market to compete against major models such as the Volkswagen Gol and Chevrolet Onix. On January 22, 2013, the crossover version called HB20X was launched, and on April 18, 2013, the sedan version of the model, named HB20S, was launched. It was the third best-selling car in Brazil in both 2015 and 2016.
The vehicle quickly gained market share, gradually earning the respect of all Brazilians and becoming one of the most beloved cars in Brazil. In 2013, it was voted Car of the Year.
