7. Volvo C30 2.5 Turbo
The Volvo C30 2.5 Turbo was built on the Ford Focus platform, but it's a much better car, and more stylish as well. Besides safety, the model exudes sportiness.
Equipped with a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 220 horsepower and a five-speed automatic transmission, it is capable of reaching 100 km/h in 7 seconds and hitting a top speed of 235 km/h.
It is undoubtedly an affordable sports car, since 2011 models can be found in the price range of R$ 38 thousand to R$ 40 thousand.
