The main visible change in the 2021 Chevrolet S10 is the restyling of the pickup truck's front end.

Safety taken seriously
In addition to a visual update, the 2021 Chevrolet S10 has also improved in terms of safety.
Now, all versions of the pickup truck come standard with 6 airbags, following the competitor Frontier, but still behind the L200 Triton. Hilux The Ranger already had seven airbags, ahead of the Amarok, which only has dual front airbags.
Starting with the LTZ trim level, the new S10 offers forward collision alert with autonomous emergency braking, pedestrian detection, and lane departure warning. Features not found in most competitors.
Connectivity is a highlight.
Here, the 2021 Chevrolet S10 has a significant advantage over the competition.
Although pickup trucks While competitors offer multimedia systems, only the S10 features the OnStar concierge and telematics service.
Another very advantageous feature is 4G internet with Wi-Fi connectivity for up to seven devices. This technology is also present in other models of the brand, such as the Onix and the Tracker.
Motorization
Here we have perhaps the worst aspect of the 2021 Chevrolet S10, after all, the manufacturer made no changes to the pickup truck's engine.
Thus, the 2.5 flex-fuel inline engine remains, which is the most powerful in its category, capable of generating 206 horsepower when fueled with ethanol and 197 horsepower with gasoline, with options for a six-speed manual or automatic transmission and 4x2 and 4x4 drive.
The 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine with 200 horsepower is also still available, but it has gained a new turbocharger. The change aims to reduce a chronic problem: turbo lag.
The new feature here is the return of the manual transmission option in the LS 4x4 version. The problem is that, lacking a more powerful diesel engine, the 2021 S10 still lags behind models like the Hilux and Amarok, which have about 30 more horsepower.

The car will feature the same package of items found in the High Country version of the pickup truck and an exclusive front bumper. It is estimated that the 2021 TrailBlazer will be priced close to R$ 270 thousand.
Conclusion
Although it has undergone a visual redesign and received more safety features, the Chevrolet S10's engine may be a stumbling block, as it is weaker than some of its competitors.
Furthermore, automakers such RenaultPeugeot and Hyundai have already announced the launch of pickup trucks for next year, which should make the pickup truck market even more competitive.
Therefore, it's safe to conclude that the 2021 S1 won't have an easy time beating the competition.
