The model is one of Brazil's iconic cars, due to its longevity and sales figures. The Chevette was discontinued with an average of 73,000 vehicles sold annually.
It stood out for its modern lines, and a 1.4-liter engine with 68 horsepower and a series of additional and innovative items for the years in which it lived, such as overhead camshaft, hazard lights, and non-penetrating steering column.
