Have you ever imagined a Brazilian car inspired by Ferraris and Lamborghinis? Well, that was the Miura MTS, a car that caught attention for its looks, but left something to be desired in its mechanical aspects. 

The story of the model begins in 1996 when Aldo Besson and Itelmar Gobbi founded Aldo Auto Capas, an automotive accessories store, and had the idea of creating their own vehicle, a sporty and contemporary coupe.

The model's design followed the Italian school, and the body was made of fiberglass attached to a VW Beetle chassis. Refinement and sophistication were striking features of the model. 

The sporty design contrasted negatively with its poor performance. Furthermore, the car was very unstable due to the rear-mounted fuel tank, which caused excessive oversteer and front wheel lock-up during hard braking. 

In total, 1078 units were produced until 1985, when production of this iconic Brazilian car was discontinued.
