The name XR3 comes from "Experimental Research 3," and the car thrilled with its aggressive look, complete with 14-inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler, and fog lights at the front. Unfortunately, the performance didn't live up to the spirited style: the 1.6 CHT engine wasn't bad, but it could have been more powerful with its 83 hp. It was discontinued in 1996.
