It retains the excellent combination of the 1.4 turbo engine with direct injection and the 6-speed automatic transmission. Capable of taking the Cruze from 0 to 100 km/h in 9 seconds, the combination is quite pleasing due to its vigorous acceleration and overtaking. Efficient, the Cruze is also capable of achieving official averages of 11.5 km/l in the city and 14.6 km/l on the highway using gasoline.
