Manufactured by Volkswagen, the Fox já foi um veículo bastante aclamado e querido pelos consumidores. Algumas reclamações do modelo acontecem por que em algumas vertentes ele não proporciona a facilidade ao consumidor, como por exemplo, a primitiva direção mecânica. Hoje ele não vale mais o seu preço.
THE VW Fox ficou meio perdido no mercado após a chegada do Up! e do Polo. O Fox é vendido atualmente em apenas duas versões: Connect, por R$ 51.490, e Xtreme, por R$ 56.690. Porém, o Polo, carro bem mais moderno e melhor de guiar, parte dos R$ 53.590 em sua versão mais barata com motor 1.0 aspirado. Mesmo a 1.6 MSI é mais divertida e melhor por R$ 5.000 a mais que o Fox mais caro, com preço de R$ 61.150.
